A great group haunted-house night starts before anyone reaches the farm. Set the meeting point, ticket, route and practical rules so the darkness can create the chaos instead.
A group haunted-house night can become the best story of October or a chain of unanswered texts in three different parking lots.

The difference is planning.
Field of Screams brings a six-acre corn maze, a two-story haunted barn, forbidden woods and Hayride 2 Hell together deep in the darkness of Brandenburg, Ky. That gives a group enough variety for a full night, but it also means everybody should understand the destination, ticket choice and practical rules before leaving Louisville, Elizabethtown, Fort Knox, Radcliff or Southern Indiana.
Handle the logistics in daylight. Save the chaos for the corn.
Pick one organizer
Every group needs one person responsible for the final plan. That person does not have to control the entire night. They only need to settle the facts:
- Where and when the group meets
- Who is driving
- Which ticket everyone plans to buy
- The official Field of Screams address
- The cash-only policy
- The clothing and age considerations
Put those details in one group message. Do not scatter them across three apps and assume everybody saw the last correction.

Decide how much of the farm you want
Field of Screams has more than one ticket because not every group wants the same night.
The Main Event includes the six-acre corn maze, the massive two-story haunted barn and the forbidden woods. Hayride 2 Hell has its own ticket. The Combo Ticket combines everything on the farm. Fast Pass is an add-on that lets visitors skip ahead in line.
Review the current Tickets and Pricing page and ask the group one clear question: are we doing the core three attractions, the hayride or the whole farm?
For 2026, the Main Event is $30, Hayride 2 Hell is $15, the Combo Ticket is $40 and Fast Pass is $20. Confirm those amounts before coming because the live page is the final authority.
Make the cash policy impossible to miss
Field of Screams is cash only. ATMs are available onsite, and tickets are sold at the concession stand during operating hours.
Put that sentence in the group message. Then put it there again if your friends are the kind of people who reply to important information with a reaction but do not read it.
Nobody wants to begin the night by discovering their payment plan existed only inside a phone wallet.

Set directions before the meeting point
The address is 132 Darnall Ave, Brandenburg, KY 40108. Field of Screams is one mile past the Otter Creek Park entrance. Do not turn into the park.
Mobile signal can become thin near the farm, so every driver should save the Directions page before leaving. Do not make one car responsible for leading a convoy through every turn. If the vehicles separate, each driver should still know the destination.
Visitors from Southern Indiana should calculate the route from their actual town. Brandenburg connects directly with Mauckport in Harrison County through the Matthew E. Welsh Bridge, while New Albany, Jeffersonville, Clarksville and more distant counties will have different route choices. Use the Southern Indiana guide for regional planning.
Dress the entire group for the farm
One person in the wrong shoes can change the pace for everyone.
Field of Screams uses real farm ground, woods, fields and corn. Wear comfortable shoes with grip and choose a pair you do not mind getting dirty. Check the weather and use layers that make sense for an outdoor fall night.
Send the group What to Wear to an Outdoor Haunted House and the What To Expect page. Practical information is part of the plan, not a spoiler.

Keep the group together inside the attraction
Agree on two things before entering: nobody intentionally abandons someone who wants to stay with the group, and nobody turns the path into a race.
Different people respond to fear differently. The loudest person before the barn may become the slowest in the woods. Let people enjoy the experience without making the group itself the problem.
Choose a meeting point for after the attractions in case people become separated outside the experience. Do not rely entirely on phone calls when signal or noise may make them less useful.
Plan carefully when older children are coming
Infants and toddlers are not permitted inside Field of Screams. Parents and guardians should decide whether an older child will enjoy outdoor darkness, loud moments, frightening characters and a multi-attraction night.
Do not pressure a child – or an adult – into an experience they clearly do not want. A good group night gives people a story, not a reason to distrust the organizer forever.
For a policy question not answered on the website, use the Contact page or call (270) 828-6799. Do not promise a group rate or special arrangement unless Field of Screams confirms it.

Group checklist for 2026
Before the cars leave, confirm:
1. The chosen Friday or Saturday falls between September 18 and October 31, 2026. 2. Everyone knows the attraction opens at dusk and the attraction runs until 1:00 AM. 3. The ticket choice is settled. 4. Everyone knows the event is cash only. 5. Every driver has the address and route saved. 6. Everyone is wearing practical shoes and weather-appropriate clothes. 7. Parents and guardians have handled the child decision. 8. The group has one meeting point if people separate.
Let the farm create the disorder
Once the group reaches Field of Screams, the plan has done its job. The maze, barn, woods and wagon can take over.
Your organizer may walk first. Your most confident friend may disappear into the middle. Someone will deny a sound they absolutely made.
Choose the ticket, send the visitor guide and save the directions. Then bring the whole crew to Brandenburg and see whether everybody leaves with the same version of the story.
